Next Stop Melbourne is a contemporary African-Australian arts and performance festival that is set to take over the streets of Melbourne's Southbank (click here for directions) on February 1.  Next Stop Melbourne is a free, all-day series of events, and everyone is invited. The extensive line-up features both established and emerging artists from the African-Australian diaspora, ranging from contemporary music and experimental dance to theatre, spoken word, painting and poetry. It is a family-friendly event that will also include a fashion parade, hair braiding and face painting. Night of Hope Hope of Congo brings you a night of cross-cultural fun and games, a great big raffle, silent auction, live music and African food. The proceeds from this event will go towards the cost of shipping a container of supplies from Adelaide to Bukavu in DRC. Hope of Congo is a non-profit organisation seeking to provide education to disadvantaged children accross the Democratic Republic of Congo.
